The objectives of IIOC Limited are:
a) To foster cooperation among members to promote the value and reputation of conformity assessment services in bringing added value to their clients.

b) To be recognised as a major forum for developing principles and practices for the conduct of various types of conformity assessment services and to provide leadership in the application and development of methodology and the promotion of high levels of service to clients.

c) To represent member companies and their interests in the different forums and working groups related to conformity assessment services.

d) To work together to continually improve the reliability of the assessment process to the benefit of all interested parties, and so enhance the integrity of conformity assessment services.

The IIOC Board comprises the senior executives of the member certification companies. In addition there is a Technical Committee to which each member is invited to provide a permanent technical manager. The Technical committee provides representation to the various interest groups relevant to this business.
