SGS performs Comprehensive Quality Control of Wind Towers for Sany Group in China - November 25th, 2011
In July 2011, SGS was awarded a contract to provide comprehensive quality control services of wind towers for Sany Group, a heavy construction equipment manufacturer, in China. Throughout the entire contract, scheduled from August 2011, SGS s team of experts will perform supervision services during the production process of wind towers to ensure that they will fulfill the applicable regulatory and client-specific requirements.

New international standard for dialysis treatment - February 15th, 2012

An important change has been introduced to an international guideline concerning dialysis treatment. Scheduled for publication in the spring of 2012, the IEC/TR 62653 "Guideline for safe operation of Medical Devices used for haemodialysis treatments" will form the future basis for TÜV SÜD's Good Dialysis Practice certificate in conjunction with ISO 9001:2008.

TÜV SÜD to test section of the MEGAL gas pipeline - February 14th, 2012

On behalf of the Mittel-Europäische-Gasleitungsgesellschaft mbH (MEGAL), TÜV SÜD will carry out quality assurance in the construction of a new natural gas pipeline between Schwandorf and Windberg. The 72-kilometre route forms part of MEGAL's pipeline system and is expected to be placed into service in October 2012.
